Meanwhile the greatest team in small heath's history finished 6th (their only ever top 6 finish) and lost the FA Cup final.

That's the equivalent of our 1999/2000 side being the greatest and most succesful Villa side in our history
.

Stop sniggering at the back.

and that says it all - nice one PWS

Forest & County.

Do Notts County supporters profess theirs is a bigger club than a team that's been English Champions and twice European Champions ?

League Champions from 1892, Sunderland, Sunderland, Villa, Sunderland, Villa, Villa, Sheff Utd, Villa, Villa, Liverpool, Sunderland.

Pointless but I like it.

As i'm dishing out the saddo stats, that's the only time in our history we've finished 20th. We've also only ever finished 3rd twice, and also 14th twice.

Yes, of course in 1972-3 we finished 3rd (well behind Burnley and QPR and I think that was the year before it became 3 up/ 3 down ?

BBC website saying 22nd. Any news from anywhere else?

Booked off the next day as the gaffer said it's definitely the 23rd.

Nothing announced from either club yet. I reckon 22nd just because Walsall/Chelsea is the 23rd.

Forest & County.

I think many Forest fans would view Derby and not Notts County as their main rivals.  I was talking to someone at work about it earlier and I think unlike many other major rivalaries, we haven't played each other that often.  I think that fact makes the build up to the games more intense.
