Funny, I was just going to post in this thread but about Baker. Just talking to a city fan I work with, the lustrous bearded one is fit again and was MOTM last night against wolves, playing on the left side of a "proper" back 3. Apparently their fans love him and this guy is worried about us recalling him. So there you go.

Can we recall Bennett? I don't like the thought of him playing for Bournemouth when one inspired performance could keep them up and send us down.

Noticed that Jed Steer had been dropped and on the bench for Huddersfield's home defeat to Leeds today.
His loan with Huddersfield ends this Wednesday 11th November.

Baker gave away a penalty, bit harsh according to Sky reporter. It was missed anyway.

Ball came into the striker's feet and Baker was behind him. The striker then seemed to launch himself forward. Didn't look like Baker pushed him. They had the penalty saved anyway.

Yeah, I think they said justice was done on Sky.

Watching the replay of that incident it was clearly Baker's beard that made contact with the striker. No pen for me.

Aye, but one of the voles that live in Baker's beard might have bit him.

It's only a matter of time before an opposition player gets the benefit of  tight offside decision because Baker's beard is playing him on.

From F365's "Top 10 Premier League Players Impressing On Loan" article:

Quote
Jed Steer (Huddersfield, from Aston Villa)
Huddersfield have only kept consecutive clean sheets three times since the start of the 2013/14 season; Jed Steer only joined in September, but he is responsible for a third of that tally.

While Aston Villa have toiled in the Premier League and sit bottom, loanee Steer has… well steered Huddersfield to safety in the Championship. The Terriers had conceded in all six of their games before the keeper arrived from Villa Park, and while the 23-year-old’s debut ended in defeat to Cardiff, he has kept two clean sheets since and has helped strengthen a troubled defence.

In a league table from the 10 games Steer has featured in since his Huddersfield debut Town sit 13th, with only nine sides losing fewer games in that sequence. In his first game out of the side since joining, Huddersfield lost 3-0 to Leeds, while Steer is also making more saves per game than Villa counterpart Guzan.

Jed Steer has rejoined Huddersfield Town on a one month loan deal.

The shot-stopper will be with The Terriers until Boxing Day.

Steer has already spent two months with the Championship club.

Callum Robinson back out on load to Preston

He's out of contract in the summer, so that might be that for his time at Villa
