Big game for Ayew this one. Our most expensive import needs to show why he is worth more than Traore, Amavi and Veretout.
He played on the right last time which I'm not sure suits him. I'd switch him to the left, or perhaps let him alternate with Gabby. Problem is Gabby, Sinclair and Ayew are all better on the left if they're not playing centrally. I don't think any particularly like playing on the right.

A very professional attitude if I might say so.

Would have preferred Rudy to start over Gabby.

Also for those of you with access to Bein sports Lambert is the guest and it absolving himself of any blame for our plight, it was all due to lack of investment on Randy's part.

His biggest regret was trying to protect the board and not telling the truth about how his hands were tied.

He had to reduce the wage bill at all costs. He got pat on the back for reducing the losses, they didn't care about performance.

The board didn't understand, and he should have looked after himself, rather than take it all on his shoulders.

Frustrates him watching Tim getting all the money.

Very complimentary as always about the size of the club

All well and good but how does he explain spending £50m quid and producing a team looking incapable of winning a corner nevermind scoring a goal.

Horrific manager.

Wish I was at the match tonight. Cast an envious look towards the Villa fans on Shrewsbury train station this afternoon! Might get back down to B6 and Bartons Arms again this season. C'mon Villa...

Hmm, so why leave Norwich then? Or did the board pull some bait-and-switch when they poached him?

Can we not talk about Lambert. With all due respect chaps. That's for another day and on another thread. It's been a fabulous day and he's dead to us. Who cares what he says or what he thinks? It's one excuse after another. Let's enjoy tonight. It's going to be good!
