Could not agree more with the gibbon lover.

He should have started on Sat. The fans need someone to lift their spirits and there is a player who can.

My offer still stands that I will take any bet for any amount with anybody who thinks Traore will not move to a better club and do well for them. The way we have used him and treated him is absolutely typical of the shambolic buffoon lead club we have become.  For good measure I will throw in £100 to Acorns if Traore does not come good with a good team.

I agree Brian. He will be a champions league regular somewhere in the next couple of sesasons. You could plsy him down the middle just to use his pace and be miles better off than we are now

As my son says about Leicester. Schmeical catches a corner, throws it out to Vardy.  Vardy runs and kicks it in the goal.

He's potentially brilliant. We've seen it in glimpses. I know he needs to learn some discipline but I don't see what harm there is in playing him now. We lose every game as it is. Playing him won't make us any weaker. If anything he'll offer us a little more threat going forward. He should have played every game available this season, just to give us even close to some goal threat.

I was at Selhurst Park earlier in the season. Traore came on and 5 minutes later we had equalised, he absolutely terrorised their defence. Only Guzan's bi weekly error cost us the game.

I just don't understand why our managers insist on not playing him. Like the previous poster said, what have we got to lose?

Whenever he has come on he has done more in ten minutes than the likes of Flabby and Sinclair have done in 80 minutes

Managers fall into safe mode at the very thought of taking risks or anybody who isn't nqturally going to track back well thats a total no no. Hence no Adama, No Grealish. Kieren Richardson is preferred because he is the ultimate safe mode player.

I agree I'm going to be gutted when he inevitably leaves.

That's exactly my point. Taking risks, what risk?

Agree totally it's ludicrous. We lose every week, so the argument for consistency of selection is just ridiculous. We'd probably still lose, but I guarantee the supporters and the club as a whole would be more invigorated with the likes of Traore and Green on the pitch.

It's just dawned on me. Maybe that's why he's not getting picked. They don't want him in the shop window.

I would move heaven and earth to keep him for next season. Would be tempted to play him in a similar role to Vardy, the ideal out ball.

i can see why this plan would not work, you mention a goalkeeper catching?

He has to have the endless work rate of a Vardy for that tactic to be effective. Vardy's engine late in games is astonishing and his sheer desire to get to the football has often been the difference late in games. Traore has the raw pace of Vardy, faster even, but does he have the rest? Vardy plays like someone who was recently in non league football and has been given the opportunity of a lifetime to play at this level. It's hard to replicate that if you don't have it naturally.

No doubt though that we all want and need to see what Traore truly has and what he has the potential to be.
