Veretout was taken off with Norwich and Sunderland in mind and Sanchez already off I reckon.

Adama looks hopelessly out of his depth. The clamour for his inclusion is a sign of the desperate plight we find ourselves in.

Where you watching the same game pal?  Everytime he got the ball, he looked to take the ful back on and get a cross in.  Not his fault there was nobody to attack the crosses.  He needs to be given the oportunity to start.

It'd be criminal if he didnt get a chance now. We know it's a lost cause but let's throw caution to the wind against Sunderland for McGraths sake.

The alternatives are players like Westwood and Sinclair etc so I'd take a bit of out of depth ness before I'd be using make no difference players

With Ayew out on Saturday, we might as well give him a start.

He is the same as Richards all pace power zero brain.Literally stands waiting for the ball his movement off it is god awful especially for someone coached at Barca ..BUT when he does run he does get by his man and can cross something Sinclair can't do

I'd start him against Sunderland as we literally have to just go hell for leather at it now.

Great assist yesterday, but how was his general play?

Wander about until ball received. Turn. Boot ball past defender. Hare past defender and catch up with ball.  Encounter two defenders. Stop. Shimmy a bit then choose option of going for byline and crossing*. Or cutting in and losing ball.

*Crosses were either sent in for awesome Gil goal or to far side of pitch where only grass was there to receive.

Both exciting and frustrating really.

Thank you.

Sounds a bit like what I saw at Palace earlier in the season.  Whilst raw (and on some touches that is a compliment) his pace creates panic.  It was noticeable that Palace needed to put two players on him which must create space elsewhere.  Whilst inconsistent that alone is more threatening than sinclair who the opposition can largest ignore.

trouble is whenever he does get a few minutes he invariably ends up injured

He does cause panic though. One of their players resorted to trying to get him sent off by rolling round on the floor when he clearly won the ball. The ref fell for it and booked him, the player in supposed agony got back up.

I thought it was still a silly challenge, it was never going to gain possession - merely a throw in. Guess that's youth.

It was unnecessary but he won the ball but it's a fair point.
