And the most nailed on banker bet is Libor Kozak to go to Celtic and score 15+ goals in half a season.

We got the full range with Traore yesterday, one great run that left their defenders flailing then one hopeless attempt where the ball just trickled out of play. He is clearly very raw but in our current state I don't see what we have got to lose.

Well if he only gets 5 minutes a game he is given so little time to impress he is probably going to be trying too hard. If we gave him more time, he would be able to to be a little less "manic".

But that range Chris was one slip up and one piece of sheer, unadulterated, pulse racing brilliance.  Not only do we have nothing to lose, we do not have a single player on the books remotely as exciting.  I will take the slip ups all day long just to see a player in an Aston Villa shirt run at the opposition.

In fairness I think you could bet on pretty much any striker scoring 15+ goals in half a season at Celtic.

Barcelona don't let good players leave.  Starting to think they've sold us a dud here.

If he is a dud I wish we had ten more to go with him.

Bit harsh on a player who's not even played a full game yet.

I'd be quite happy with a team of Barca rejects.

As opposed to the galactico of stars we currently have in our team? I see more potential in his fingertips than half of the charlatan starting 11 masquerading as footballers yesterday.

I pretty much agree, Brian, I just know how unforgiving the crowd can be at times. My instinct would be to keep him on the bench for a couple more weeks but to give him longer on the pitch to get his confidence up against tiring defenders before starting him.

I am not sure too many people in the crowd can be bothered to be 'unforgiving'.

He's an individual and a maverick. He will do some shit things, but could equally produce game changing moments. I understand the value of 'the team' and fully appreciate why Garde is so keen to promote the responsibility of the collective because in a normal dogfight, that would be the best means of getting out of trouble. However, this is not about scrapping points now. We have to be brilliant, not game. We have to win, not draw. We might even need to win almost 50% of our games over the 2nd half of the season. Adama, by being such an individual, is less likely to be frozen by nerves, which is a big problem with the rest of them.

We might as well just give him his platform and see whether he can win us a game or two on his own, we have long gone past the point of having anything to lose.

Having seen Alan Hutton attempt to flick a ball through his legs only for it to roll straight out of play yesterday, I am beginning to wonder whether we shouldn't worry too much whether Traore is going to make mistakes sometimes and just give him a go.

Rubbish.

Delofalu, Bojan, Affelay,Pique, Sanchez, Toure, Muniesa off the top of my head. All good players.
