Blimey, players don't half get written off quickly these days.

Might have a look at the list of Academy players and select one to slag off so I can be the first to say he wouldn't make it as a player.

Are many of them earning £45k a week?

Loved his "give me the ball" attitude
Players often fall flat when they do that but he showed fantastic pace and actually looked exciting
Yep - play him through the middle

Despite only coming on in the 68th min vs Watford no player completed more dribbles in the Premier League this weekend than Adama Traore (6)

Play him up front with Ayew off and floating. Ayew and Gil feeding balls into the channels, with him playing off the last man.

There isn't a defender yet born who would be able to keep pace, so go to Southampton, push their back line as deep as its ever sat by pinging them over the top and round the corner for the human rocket to chase.

Nice to be thinking exciting things about Villa again ain't it. He is so quick, he is like Gabby in his prime, he can take the long way round a defender and still beat him to the ball.  Human rocket. Love it.

No idea. I've no idea how much he's earning either or whether he's worth it as I've only seen about 30 seconds of highlights of him.

He's not started a league game because of the Notts County thug, so his development has been curtailed. He's got bags of promise though.

Ads, Bob, WW and others are discharging their duty as Villa fans and cheering us up in truly fucking horrible times.

I'd quite like to see him and Ayew up front but with neither playing as a 'real' striker but rather  get them both playing on the outside shoulder of the centre-half as their default position.  I'd then go Bacuna-Sanchez-Gana as a 3 and then Veretout in front (with the option to bring Gil or Grealish in there and  move Veretout deeper).  The key being to get 1 of the 3 good passers in the team a little higher up the pitch and trying to thread passes for Adama and Ayew to get 1on1.

i just posted exactly the same on the pre match thread

just play it to his feet and let him turn off the centre halves and let ayew feed off him

if nothing else he will draw a shit load of fouls

I agree, I think he's a potentially belting player.

My twopennorth.  I love him. I think he is a shining light amid the circling gloom. I would play him centre forward.

Agreed. And though not very tall is stocky and physical

When Deulefeo first joined Everton from Barcelona he struggled and came in for quite a bit of criticism, we've hardly seen Traore  but it's worth bearing in mind.
