There are so many players Garde could improve just by suggesting one addition to their game. In Adama's case, it would be 'pass'. Grealish, it would be 'shoot'. Agbonlahor, 'leave'.

Sounds like you think Lynn Truss should be writing our training manual for him

If that was the case, Agbonlahor would cover 'eats' as well.

It's unfair to give Gabby such a hard time... before dinner!

Traore coming from Barcelona and his immediate impact at Palace and then Notts County has wooed us. Lets hope he can live up to it. Not sure  what went on with Borehamwood Tim, but we need to see if the bloke can have an impact

And right there is another why the premier league is shit for football generally in a microcosm.

13 out of 40 young players are associated with English clubs.  Fantastic

Apart from only 4 of the 13 are actually British and a further 4 are on loan from their parent club.

I know it's not happening, but I do wish all of this hyperbolic "best league in the world" bollocks together with the instant gratification success on a plate yesterday if not sooner and no matter how big the problem is or isn't just keep throwing blank cheques at it (yes I know we've done it too.) would all just f¤¤k off up it's own arsehole and leave the rest of us to some sort of sporting contest instead of some form of monetary porn, who can spend the most wankathon.

Don't think in our current situation we will be seeing Traore any time soon. Looks a million miles away from being a first team player to me. Twenty minutes vs Palace & 60 mins vs Notts County doesn't mean he's ready.

Even if in those 80 minutes he was directly responsible for two goals?

Who in our squad is "a million miles" ahead of him in producing better results so far this season?

If the sixty minutes against Notts County had been done in the street the Notts County defence would all be banged up for GBH. That hour I saw of them queuing up to chop him down and take their yellow card is one of the most cynical displays of choreographed thuggery I have ever seen at Villa Park. It was matched only by Sherwood keeping him on inevitably to get injured by the assaults so that Sherwood could avoid the defeat which was on the cards courtesy of his team set up and selection. That injury at that point in the season set Adama back six months and cost us priceless points.

Brian they have been far too slow in getting rid of Sherwood it may cost us dearly at the end of the season.
My only hope is that the new manager can get the best out of what most of us believe is a decent squad.
Traore with his pace will always be up fpr clogging, imagine him against a team like Stoke City.

It happens. Look at the way Hull clattered Grealish last season.

I am OK about the clogging Rob, it is the lack of protection given by referees to quick, talented and entertaining players and in Adama's case against Notts County not only lack of referee protection but being left on to take it by the manager.  Call me a conspiracy theorist if you like but in the light of Sherwood's subsequent comments about the newcomers not being his choices I personally think Traore was regarded as needing to shift for himself.
