If there is an element of doubt about his fitness, which appears might be the case, don't play him, otherwise you're risking putting his recovery back weeks or even months.

I was really happy with Ayew on Tuesday night,
I was beginning to think we had bought ourselves another expensive dud,
as I am in the habit of writing off a player in the warm up before his first appearance if he as much as miss kicks it

Not worth the risk with the rest of the season ahead of us. Both Traore and Gueye should train for a week and see if they can make the game against Stoke.

As someone said earlier two from Grelish, Traore, Ayew and Gil at the very most. They are going to kicked to fcuk, so they'll all have plenty of first team action over the season due to injuries etc...

I wish someone would kick the shit out of the Notts County player who injured Adama....

Then proceed to kick the fuck out of the Forest player (Antonio?) who crocked Crespo after 15 minutes of a "friendly".

It's all part of the game. Stop them in any way you can. Hopefully, we have Traore, Gueye, Jack and Gil all fit and available and ready to tear up this league as soon as possible.

I think Adama may just get a spot on the bench but agree with the general opinion that we should let him get fully fit before unleashing him on the opposition.

He overdid it a bit today when the easy pass was on. That said I want him to have the confidence to take players on. We have enough 'safe' passing players as it is

Agree with you to be fair but Liverpool knew the score straight away and Lucas came into play. He needs to realise his presence gives space to others.

Adama has had a very disruptive start with injury, signing after the season started which meant no pre - season to get used to things. I think he'll be a star and I hope he starts against Stoke.

I thought he did alright considering his it's his first game back. Looked like he was trying to make things happen, did overdo it a bit but he looks a player who will take the game by the scruff of the neck. A lot of what he tried very nearly came off as well.

Start vs Stoke please.
