No I haven't but that wasn't the point my comment.  To expand further, I feel that when a fun team bonding thing is put on social media or is used for publicity then it's meaning changes.  The 'what happens on tour, stays on tour' cliche carries some merit in my opinion.  I'd guess that the forces encourage a similar code of conduct.  So the content of the video is not important it is that Grealish has failed to understand the team dynamic in my opinion, it shows a lack of awareness.

Considering that over the last year or so Hutton and Delph had posted similar videos in addition to ones from Grealish, I don't think the team in general will have a problem.

Besides, back in my sporting days (ye olde 2007) initiations tended to be a lot more humiliating/difficult/embarrassing, standing on a chair and singing a song is really really tame.

Gabby has posted a few of them, too.

Recently the new doctor and coach driver (two seperate people, rather than one man doing both, you'll be glad to hear) have had theirs posted.

It is totally harmless.

I can't even begin to imagine why anyone would give the slightest shit about this sort of thing.

Sherwood said "we should cool our jets about him". I presume that means not to get overly impatient as fans are wont to do. He also said he was only 19 had a lot to learn and was a 'development player'. To me that places him in the same category as Delph when he was signed.  One for the future who may make the occasional appearance.
Grealish is 19 ...
My guess is that Traore will be gradually blended into the team from the bench - by Xmas I'd expect him to be challenging for a regular starting spot if he's good enough

Didn't  Wise, Jones, Fashanu etc. used to set new recuits' suits on fire or hose new players down when they joined Wimbledon?

It's unbelievable. You professional athletes singing and having a bit of fun and light hearted hazing. What a fucking outrage.

They had a tradition whereby new players would have their head nailed to the floor by Vinny Jones.

This is from Terry Gibson's autobiography about when he joined Wimbledon and asked Jones for mercy.

Quote
he was very reasonable about it. I mean one Sunday when my parents were coming round for tea, I asked him if he'd mind very much not nailing my head to the floor that week and he agreed and just screwed my pelvis to a cake stand.

Explosive burst of pace, he looks the real deal this lad. He'd be in my team for the Sunderland game.

Was that Doug or Dinsdale Jones?

On the evidence of today, we simply can't afford to leave him out...play him in both games this week.

He has to play. He's like Linford Christie after a trip round Lance Armstrong's house.

Traore, Ayew, Veretout and Gestede all need game time on Tuesday, and it will also be a useful game to get Amavi, Gueye, Grealish and Gil upto speed. The only problem is finding a formation to play/rotate them.
