Let's also keep in mind Stoke have 3 ex Barca players and at the moment they still look shite. This won't happen overnight

That's a fair comment.  The Everton chap, whilst highly regarded by their fans, is also on the bench more often than not too.

I think you'll find I'm not the only one on here who would like to see him start against Palace...but those dastardly coaching staff appear to have foiled our plans! Drat! Double Drat! and Triple Drat!

If I were Sherwood I'd leave him out of the squad for a few weeks. Let him get fully fit and make sure he is absolutely bursting to play. Then I'd unleash him...

I agree he has to protect Traore. But this is a kid who has played 63 games for Barcelona B team, replaced Neymar in a Barcelona first team and came on as a late sub for Cesc Fabregas in a champions league game !!! Sherwood has said he is fit and he played 90 mins without a whimper in the week. So this player is currently fitter. Has more game time in high profile matches than Grealish and is the same age. I hope he is on the bench tomorrow .......

We all want to see him sooner rather than later but not sure how less than 20 mins on the pitch in 2 games in 2013 have any relevance as to whether he is ready for this weekend or not.

I am merely pointing out that I do not think this game would overwhelm him .......

I don't think anyone has said it would. It's whether he's fit enough to play that seems to be the only question.

Sherwood said in his press conference he is fit and has only missed a weeks training when they were negotiating the deal. He played 90 mins in the week and has trained all this week he is 19 and I do not think fitness is an issue .....

Nobody talks about protecting Ross Barlclay or Reece Oxford...

He's been in the country a week or so, maybe i'm the only seeing why Sherwood may take his time with a 19 year old kid.

Jack Grealish has posted a video of him on Instagram of him doing his initiation song/dance tonight.  I'm guessing that it was at the hotel in London so it would appear he's traveled if true.

He should keep his head down.

Why they do this I don't know.

Because its fun.  All kinds of teams in all sports have silly initiation rituals.
