I think we should put nzogbia in the starting 11 tonight , then put nzogbias shirt on Adama instead . Manure wont be bothered the slightest about nzogbia while he scores five goals and then sell ngozbia to west brom for ten million pounds.

I've watched his interview on AVTV and he presents himself very well, coming across as confident yet humble and ready to learn.
And he speaks French too (as well as Spanish).

Balague from sky sports: irregular, too individualistic and has to be more humble. Got my doubts
That's a pretty good summation of Balague; now what has he said about Traore?
And I thought I was cynical and sarcastic.  Keep up the good work

Wonder if Benteke and Delph are looking at developments with a little regret?

Maybe not Benteke but I reckon Delph might be. Especially since the way he was pilloried for his decision and that despite his signing Citeh are in still looking to strengthen with quality midfielders.

Nevermind, feck the fecker.

I see Pedro could end up there too.

If you take out the irregularity bit which is ridiculous criticism of a teenager then the rest isn't criticism at all.

Balague's criticism amounts to 'not good enough for Barcelona'. Which is pretty faint criticism if you ask me.

Balague from sky sports says: Adama, new Aston Villa player for €10m+ €2 in variables: fast, irregular, too individualistic and has to be more humble. Got my doubts

Balague is unbelievably smug.

Blimey Barca like to have their cake and eat eat it.

They can have him back at any point in the next 3 years ( for unspecified price) and if not then they get a share of his sell on value.

F##kers. Anyhow let's enjoy him whilst we can, should be fun to watch.

That's not how the statement on their site puts it. For the first three years there is a specified price in place at which they can buy him. If they choose not to exercise it, then for the following two years (and presumably any subsequent contract he signs with us) if we choose to sell him then they have first refusal to buy him - presumably at whatever value we put on him.

So it's really only an issue at the point that the set price expires - if the price is say, £10m and he is worth more than that then they might as well exercise it and sell him on to somebody else.

I've been banging on like a mad man for years about the lack of movement off the ball and lack of imagination in our squad, well that has well and truly been addressed this summer and its rather bloody delightful.

                     Gueye.          Veretout.

Adama.                    Gil.                       Grealish.

                          Ayew/Gestede.

That midfield and front line has more movement than Spaghetti Junction, add Amavi and Bacuna bombing forward from full back and its all rather exciting, granted the tracking back would be none existant but we'll deal with that when we come to it.
