Great news. I'm excited about this/

I'm also glad to have little Barcelona as our feeder club.

Just so no one panics, he has stretched the shirt in the traditional new signing manner. So it's official.

Well losing Benteke and Delph was a blow and one that at the time I couldn't have thought a good thing on any level
But if the signings have come about with the money we got from there sales (mainly Benteke) then I reckon I would have taken the change

Agree, John.
How many of us saw this transfer window coming?

I mentioned on another forum that when we sold Andy Gray and John Gidman I thought the end of the world was here.
I'm not foreseeing the same end product, but, flippin' heck I'm excited  :)

Yep. I'd take the squad we've got now over the one we had before they left any day.

Now I know he's signed.

Just told my lad that we'd signed a player from Barcelona.
"Is it Messi?" he asked. Oh to be 6 again.

Another great signing, this window has been transformational for Villa.
Not signing a few journeymen as last two years, but quality from Europe, and Adama being the most impressive.
Wonder if Benteke and Delph are looking at developments with a little regret?
We are on our way back!

Also now think there will be new owners soon, (although if this is all Randy and Tom then I am still chuffed).

I can't remember the last time we bought a player from one of the really top clubs in the world.

Bowery?

I still can't quite get my head around the speed at which we have moved from signing cast-offs and mediocre lower-league Brits, to a massive supermarket sweep of bright young talents from the continent.

Maybe not Benteke but I reckon Delph might be. Especially since the way he was pilloried for his decision and that despite his signing Citeh are in still looking to strengthen with quality midfielders.

Nevermind, feck the fecker.
