We seem to be buying every young midfielder that's on the market. Sherwood has blindsided us, this is Spurs Syndrome by Proxy.

Interesting as I have just read a pull piece by John Percy in the Telegraph saying he will sign for 7m tomorrow.

Just watched the clips of this lad and he will confuse the hell out of the rest of our players. What is this running with the ball and taking players on???

Liverpool transfer news and rumours
Liverpool will not give up on Barcelona youngster Adama Traore and will make their move for the 19-year-old this month.
Traore has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs over recent weeks with Liverpool facing competition from Stoke, Everton and Aston Villa for his signature.
Stoke manager Mark Hughes revealed that the club have held talks with Traore over a move but it appears his bid to land the player could be scuppered by Liverpool's interest.
According to the Metro, Brendan Rodgers will make an offer for the young winger in the coming weeks.

Telegraph - Percy about 45 minutes ago

Adama Traore is flying in for talks with Aston Villa on Wednesday as he prepares to complete a £7 million move.
Villa have emerged as the front-runners to sign the Barcelona forward and could secure a deal in the next 24 hours after Stoke City dropped out of the race.
Traore, 19, has also been targeted by Stoke but after the £12 million record signing of Xherdan Shaqiri, Villa are now the favourites to take him.

Traore is expected to have a medical later on Wednesday and will become Tim Sherwood’s tenth signing of the summer if a deal is agreed, in a drastic reshaping of the Villa squad.
Sherwood remains interested in Tottenham Hotspur pair Andros Townsend and Emmanuel Adebayor but has experienced frustration in advancing both deals.
England international Townsend will cost around £12 million, which could prove beyond Sherwood, while Adebayor’s move has stalled despite talks with Villa nearly a fortnight ago.

Villa talks to sign Emmanuel Adebayor have stalled
Traore, however, would be a huge coup for Villa with the Spain under-19 international regarded as one of the brightest talents to come through Barcelona’s academy in recent years.
Last week, Sherwood declined to expand on his interest in the teenager, only saying: "He's a good player, but at the moment he's Barcelona's player."
Villa are now looking to put the finishing touches to a three-year contract and Traore could even be unveiled before Villa’s Premier League game against Manchester United on Friday night.
Barcelona are likely to insist on a buy-back option, even though Traore has only made four appearances for the Spanish giants.

Ok good and I don't have a problem with a Barcelona buy back option after 3 years. That's some serious incentive for the lad to perform week in week out .

Watched 30 seconds of his highlight reel.. he's better than anyone on our team.
The one criticism I would have from his clips, he looks a bit like the kid at school who is ten times better than everyone else and NEVER PASSES THE BLOODY BALL! Some of those dribbles are great and stupid/pointless in equal measure.
