I really hope we're not jumping the gun here, because this looks like it'd be a brilliant signing. I hope it does prove to be true.

Do Barcelonas B team play in Spains third tier?

Second tier.

I think they were relegated from the second tier a couple of seasons ago

They finished bottom of the second last season, hadn't realised. They're bloody rubbish, what are we doing buying players from them?

Looks like I was wrong and that Barcelona B actually just got relegated for being the worst team in the Spanish second division. My guess would be that that league is inferior to the Championship, given the amount of money which seems to get spent in the Championship these days, but second-tier in one of the best footballing countries around can't be too bad.

Still, Grealish made the jump from League 1 to Premier League after bringing him along slowly, so it seems more of a natural talent/good mentality thing than just looking at the strength of the league.

Interesting scouting report on Adama. Not the finished product but obviously has bags of potential.

He looks very talented and I hope we get him. My concern would be that he looks a little rushed and jumpy, and that it's one thing to make Spanish second division players look foolish but quite another thing in the Premier League - and difficult dribbles only need to go slightly wrong to completely fail. However, there's no doubt there's talent there.

Looks to me like a useful squad addition. I'm sure he'll come off the bench and turn some games around.

What I like about this signing is precisely that he isn't the finished article. That we have other options that can play in those wide positions, but this will be another very exciting player who will grow into his role as he matures. There isn't immense pressure for him to succeed immediately. We could have him on one side Grealish on the other as regulars in a years time. Gil, Veretout, Gueye, Sanchez in the middle and talented players like Calder coming through the ranks.

One more CB and a RB if we can shift Hutton would be brilliant business.

along with Pione Sisto one of the most highly regarded young players in Europe, a real statement of intent if we sign him.

Bloody hell if he was the finished article, given his level of skill, he wouldn't be coming here

Well the Daily Mail reckon we've bid £12m for him.

We don't currently have a player whose best position is on the right. Would be really happy if this comes off.  Bit concerned about how grealish, Gil and veretout fit in. But we've gone from having basically two players who you could say were genuinely creative - and they are Cole and nzogbia - to having several. So no complaints from me

Sherwood has suggested that Gil's best position might be as the elusive, mysterious number 10.

Is Adama going to be our first Galactica?

Geek fist bump
