If we can get this kid, and say Lescott, it would be the best transfer window in a very long time.  I thought tht "Tactics Tim" was just going to buy a load of Spurs rejects and get them to run around a bit.

He's pursued a kind of violently sensible transfer policy. It's all very impressive.

He looks intelligent, which will take some getting used to. Also, why are all YouTube player videos accompanied by the worst dance music available to humanity?

Do Barcelonas B team play in Spains third tier?

Second tier. My son was mascot for them when they played their first ever match in England a couple of years ago against Huddersfield Town. It was the week before the season kicked off so Huddersfield were well ahead in terms of fitness and put out their first team, my son said as he was walking along the line doing the handshakes he heard Jordan Rhodes say "come on lads we'll beat these, they've sent a team of kids". The kids ran rings round them, changed their team at half time and ran rings around them again. Don't think Traore was playing but every single one of them was so comfortable on the ball it was embarassing the gulf in class at times.

Would be quite exciting if we signed him. He'd only be our second ex-Barcelona player.

the best summer signing bar none if it happens

Best summer signing ever. Honestly, looking back, I can't think of a signing we've made that really excited me. This however could be the one that changes all that. He looks like he's from another planet. 3 year contract with an additional one year option? Looks very good and smart business.

Second tier.

I think they were relegated from the second tier a couple of seasons ago

He pursued a transfer policy that flies in the face of what everyone of us feared and contrary to what every rag or shit website and blog had us doing this summer. This window couldn't be anymore the opposite of what most of thought might happen.

Fair play not just to Sherwood but to every one of the team down there for getting these deals in place.

Someone tried using Elbow and it didn't quite work as well.

It's almost like Tim has used his Brain, surrounded himself with people who have really sound knowledge of the game, good scouts and then trusted then to get the right players. Itv is like he really does have a plan. Such a refreshing change. Please let this one come off.

Thanks both.

I think Ill wait to see him play first before getting too excited, we have had a lot of youngsters who have looked like world beaters at lower levels.

Gestede will prove to be our best summer signing. I wanted us to get him middle of last season.  As it transpires TS was tracking him for some time too.  We know a good footballer when we see one me and Tim do.  Having said that, I really do hope you're right on Traore.

Over the weekend Sherwood was saying that he has a mate from Spurs that not only knows everything about every player but more importantly what players Sherwood likes. The scouts tell him the names of the players and he'll tell them if Sherwood will want them or not.

Not sure who his mate is but he must be working for us. Anybody know who he is?

Express and Talksport both saying it's agreed

http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/597554/Barcelona-winger-snubs-Liverpool-Stoke-Aston-Villa-Adama-Traore-latest-transfer-news

Well, they're only reporting that other people (the articles quoted earlier in the thread) say that it's agreed.
