I like Barton and Waddle too. They have their own strong opinions and don't just spout cliches.

Phil Neville spoke only in cliches, so much that I think his BBC column was an entry for the Turing Test - a bot that recycles banal football comment.

Richards, Amavi and Gueye have by and large been excellent. Rudy looks a nuisance and a nightmare for a defender if you can cross the ball. A winger is a must!

They have all done well and will only get better as they play more. Especially when Amavi overlaps more down the left and finds Rudy's head.
