Bournemouth haven't exactly flown out the traps themselves. I was expecting to see a side which played flowing football but that style seems to have been replaced by a more pragmatic style of well-organised defence and a midfield which launches the ball forward. They've played their part in a dull match so far.

On the down side: that was pretty shit, I get the feeling we might have another season of not scoring many goals.

On the positive side: Veretout has seen plenty of the ball, Richards looks good.

Only the first game of the season, mind.

Anyone else's feed go to the Everton match for the end of their first half? They were getting very loudly booed off.

Booing the team in the first game of the season? What bastards. Scum. Subhuman scum. Hope the media slaughter them.

It's Everton, they were probably only booing the black players.

We need Veretout or Gueye to start driving forward in midfield. Westwood is there to pass sideways from side to side, we don't need two more midfielders not stepping up.

Nowhere showing the game. Quite pleased about that now, even though I'm knackered after wasting the best part of an hour looking for somewhere.
Did you try that bar in hall green

Try not to let it annoy you.

If it does, just imagine looking to our bench and seeing this sight looking back at you still.

I thought Talksport were just Anti-Villa but looking at the comments we are poor. They said Amavi looks a very poor player? This was always going to take time to be honest so I would definitely take a draw here. Very surprised Gabby has started on his own upfront?
Amavi has done fine. Premier League debut against a good winger, he's showed good pace and is definitely an upgrade on what we've had before. Let's give the guys a chance to settle in.

I thought Amavi was one of the better performers.

Ayew playing excellent in the ghost position and Gabby's clearly been told to stay up and wait for Guzan's long ball, only problem is that 99% of the time it never makes it to him.

Sinclair has been the best player, shame everyone else gets themselves in the worst position possible when he has the ball.

Was always going to be a difficult game - a newly promoted team & their first ever game in the premiership coupled to all the changes we've made - we're only 45 minutes in, it's going to take a little longer for us to become the team we all hope we'll be.

I think we'll find it tough going for the first 5-6 games. Will probably take Tim a quarter of the season to find the right blend, formation and style.

I expected a really tough game today, 0-0 I'm fine with....just hoping to put something on the board today.

If they think Amavi is a poor player then they're imbeciles.

R5 saying he has been our best player. These radio pundits know jack shit, don't listen to them.
It's just going to be one big bukake fest all season over Eddie Howe and how marvellous he is.

Yes, I got the impression we're in for a lot of that this season as well.

It is understandable, really, but it is going to start to grate pretty quickly.
Aye he's done a top job but didn't Hull and Swansea do something similar....it's not as if it's a one off.
