Slightly disappointed that after all the signings our front man for today is... Gabby. But hey ho, chins up, let's do it.

All the more reason to think that another forward will be coming in I suspect

thats an all out attacking side, too much so imo for the first game of the season. Huge vote of confidence in Gabby but Gestede will surely be coming on in the second half

We wont be keeping a clean sheet with that side but should have no problem creating chances. 2-2

--------------Guzan
Bacuna, Richards, Clark, Amavi
-------Westwood, Gueye
Ayew, -----Veretout, -----Sinclair
-------------Gabby----------

Well I suppose we can all live in hope Gabby has a good day. Hopefully he's fresh and fit. The only excuse he could have had last season was that he was constantly carrying niggles. I hope we get him running at the Bournemouth defenders. Same goes for Ayew and Sinclair. There's a big onus on Veretout today I feel.

Well I suppose we can all live in hope Gabby has a good day.

And you can all eat humble pie like you normally do after a 'Let's slag off, Gabby' thread. He always responds by scoring. I'd have thought you'd have learned your lesson by now. Still, it takes all kinds.

Finally found somewhere to watch it.

Can't see us getting much today, but I hope to see the style of play emerging.
