Amavi is good isn't he?

He's looking the best so far.
These Frenchies are very good on the ball with much better control and passing than Sinclair or Bacuna, for example.

Agree - he looks the real deal. Hopefully the perennial LB problem has finally been sorted

Very impressed with Gueye, Amavi and Ayew so far.

I'd agree with that, all three looked good so far.

Has Gueye given the ball away at any point yet? Looks so comfortable with it.

How are we faring over all? Watched the last ten.

We do look easy to attack against, letting plenty of crosses in. And I really don't like that four man midfield. When Tim arrived he tried that for a bit before dropping it. Much better to have a three in there for me.

Amavi looks the pick. Kozak looks quite slow and cumbersome today.

We are missing grealish, Gil, veretout and (perhaps) adebayor - that would clearly add more creativity and quality.

A LB who can cross with his left foot!  It will never last.

What I like first and foremost is he can defend.

I think given it a few weeks and most will have forgotten the name of that greedy twat from Bradford.

Gueye looks a seriously good player. Amavi and Ayew look really good too. Crespo looked better than Archies worst nightmare, I hope he isn't really that injury prone.

We have a very decent set of players out there, when they get to know each other we could be quite a useful outfit. Tim's four four facking two was a bit of a disaster.

I still think one more top midfielder is required. Westwood is a decent squad option but these French lads can play a bit. Maybe with Veretout we won't need one but I'd hate to see one of them get injured and find the drop off quite steep. I like Westy but he's not at top PL level which we need to have a bit more of.
