Sellars up-front and Calder in midfield.

There wasnt a great deal to get excited about or to slay fears that its going to be another season of struggle. Simply not enough quality anywhere and yet again, we constantly allowed Walsall to get men back behind the ball before we comitted players in support, then struggled to offer anything incisive.

The new lad Gueye looked the pick of the bunch and the left back finished the game a lot more strongly and confidently than he started it.

Highlights now available on AVTV. Thoughts from first half (can't be bothered w second):

Overall I thought we were better than comments made me expect though it was obviously only Walsall! We passed the ball quite well whereas we didn't in the last game. We did lack creativity in the final third though. Weak spots were definitely bacuna and Sinclair who were awful. I mean dog shit bad. Formation shifted between 433 and 442.

Richards was v dominant. Really liked Amavi tho he made a couple of silly errors. Extremely two footed. Hutton bad on the ball.

Westwood did his normal stuff. Gueye had bags of energy and loved a tackle. Impressed. Bacuna flitted between right mid in a four and part of a three. Gave the ball away a lot.

Sinclair flitted between front three and and left mid. Didn't affect the game much at all. Poor. Kozak did well I thought definitely a good target. Lacks pace though. Robinson did well, much better than previous games.

A definite upgrade on Jack Woodward. Is that Wolfie at 2:18?

That's definitely Wolfie. Good spot. The bloke that looks like Dumbledore has been sat a few seats away from me for about five years and that's the first time I've ever heard him speak!

What she lacks in variety of questioning she makes up for in looks, although I found her a bit too happy, like a modern day Bonnie Langford.

Hasn't David Crosby lost some weight?

and so will I. However my Wolves supporting mate from the house opposite has got us two tickets with the opposition. I shall be diplomatic with my comments. Very diplomatic indeed!

Let's be honest, Alan Partridge is an upgrade on Woodward.
