Pre-Season Friendly Match Thread Compendium

Has anyone got our full pre-season schedule, I know we have another game in Portugal v Bristol city, the obligatory Walsall game and a game vs Swindon but I've forgotten who our marquee friendly is against this year ??

Don't they usually name the 'marquee' team closer to the game?

Oh I guess so yes, so we can have a crowd like the Parma one

We are, I took advice and checked , Braga I think we played them before under mcleish in a pre season (1-1)

What date? the weekend before is Forest away which is when we usually play these games.

We play them 17 July away so no home marquee game this year.
Possibly due to the Parma lockout .

wasn't it mentioned that there was building/maintenance work going on at VP.

maybe that's why there's no home friendly.

also, the season staring earlier might have impacted the schedule

2000 seat stand looked nearly full, so not a bad turnout.

No Guzan, No Sanchez, might as well include everyone who missed out.

Okore and Bennett are the only odd ones as the others had either just signed or had played in June and deserved a bit of a break.  Okore probably not fully fit though but I think the writing is on the wall for Bennett.

I don't think Bennett travelled and as we're trying to sign Amavi , it's probably safe to assume that he's for sale.
