Probably not playing for the same reasons that Hutton and Sanchez aren't: been on international duty

Most likely all the internationals who played after the cup final are missing and he happens to be one of them.

I am glad we won't be relying on Gardner to be central to our midfield plans next season.

No offense to the lad but at his age he should not be this slow, Cole is quicker FFS.
