Ron Saunders said when we won the league , he had seven captains on the pitch,
take a look at us now Ron, not to many candidates.

Caveman!!!!
Micah Richards as a new arrival would be an interesting choice of captain. Clark is developing, but is still young and has a lot to learn. Gabby is not PL standard anymore and should have been one of the ones to be shown the door. There is a lot of rebuilding to be done, if a team can be assembled with a better mentality which puts a damn sight more effort in than they did last season Richards would be my choice.

Should be Clark. He was really growing into a dominant centre half last season, will probably be first choice so seems like the stand out candidate to me.

We could have a bingo/lotto machine with the squad numbers in and draw the next fixtures captain at half time instead of the kick the ball to the round thingy on the half way line competition.

Credit to the 4.7% who guessed Delph (unless they voted in the last hour or so!)

Is Clark Delph's middle name? If so I had it right all the time.
