We should have an open top bus parade to celebrate this.

The good news just keeps on coming at the moment.  McCormack next hopefully.

I'm hoping that he visits this site once in a while in between counting his money. I've seen some bad'uns at Villa Park over the last 40 years but this guy has been the worst signing bar none. You have stained our jersey Micah ever since you signed that contract. A disgrace of a human being.

Apologies Danno. I'm a postman.  A hard, physical proper job. And I would've given anything to just once pull on the jersey of Aston Villa. I have to work 2 years to equal what this f**ker makes in a week. So forgive me If I take offence at a clown taking the piss out of my team.

I'm not certain what offers he will have turned down to come here, but that's the crux of it. He will have come here ahead of everywhere else because we agreed to pay him 60k a week for 4 years.  We knew about his injuries, knew we couldn't insure him, and went ahead and made the deal anyway.

We can't realistically expect him to tear it up because our gamble didn't come off. Especially not after we block a move to West Ham.

His only crime as I see it is holding us to a contract we agreed to pay and having a cracking agent.

He's gone now though. So Hooray!

Interesting theory that we couldn’t get him insured ,why wasn’t his contracted based upon the amount of appearances he made? just a thought

Because we had an incompetent CEO and a halfwit as manager.

I guess my overriding memory of him will be arguing with our fans at Wycombe while Guzan and Lescott fucked about on the bench.

...and missing an open goal at VP.

So thankful those horror days are over.

That missed goal has to be his epitaph.  The ball was three quarters over the line but somehow, I do not know how, he defied the laws of the universe by hurling himself at it and putting  it out for a goal kick.

In fairness had Sunderland been lumbered with him I think it'd sent some of the mackems off the harbour wall.  Only bit of luck they've had in years.

Because had we offered that he would have said no and gone elsewhere.

Which would obviously have been a good thing, but not in the eyes of the halfwits who wanted to persuade him to sign for us.
