has he officially vacated the building yet? He's probably doing a Teresa May at BH clinging on to a door frame for dear life.

I'm amazed that the club couldn't have retired him early as he's clearly not been fit for the last 3 years. If he's not fit for the job he's paid for? I don't get it.

Perhaps some of the vitriol aimed at Richards on here might possibly be directed to some or all of the following:

a) The idiot that scouted him.

b) The idiot that signed him

c) The medicos that passed him fit for purpose.

d) The idiot that handed him that length of contract and the salary to accompany it

e) Add your own reason

It isn't all Richards' fault.  Put yourselves in his shoes, what would you do? *

*I have no love or liking for Richards one way or another, I'm just trying to look at it from both sides and I too will be glad when he's gone.

e) Di Matteo for blocking his move to West Ham. 😡 Arghh!

I see he played 26 games for us. Still more than Mike Pejic, Ivo Stas and David Unsworth put together to be fair ;)

They weren't on the equivalent of £60,000 per week then!

Be surprised if all three combined were on that.  And "played" is also an exaggeration. He might have appeared on the pitch but actually games he tried and played might be half that at most.

But at what point does your self-respect kick in and begin to see yourself as the useless, fat, lazy, waste of space piece of shite that everyone else sees. Yes there are others to blame but he's the one who's been running down the clock these last three years. Literally laughing all the way to the bank. The living embodiment of stealing a living.

Mica's cost per game must be up there with Andy Carroll's - about ten mill per game. Un-fucking-believable.

I suspect if we had a documentary like the Sunderland one in the dark days, it would have shown a scene where the man in charge swears/runs into another room and smashes some furniture, then a caption pops up stating Micah Richards has decided to stay at the club.
