They won't discuss playing matters. Nor should they.
Recent evidence suggests this is a non-playing matter. ;)

He can't move to another club if none have been in for him. He can't take a pay off if we don't offer him one. We may not have made an offer due to FFP for all we know. And if even we do he may not accept it as it could affect his chances of finding a new club and ultimately i doubt many of us would write off a shit load of money we don't have to even if we were loaded. I want him gone from the club as much as anyone but I don't blame him for still being with us.

all very well but Bruce has said he won't play him because he isn't fit enough - in which case why can't we sack the sack him off and claim on the insurance?

Micah Richards salary, £35,000 per week, could double if Aston Villa are promoted back to the Premier League. [birmigham mail] #avfc

Isn't fit because he's overweight, lazy and won't put in the effort?  Or isn't fit because he has knackered knee/s?  Do we know or have I just missed it?

I remember bumping into dunne, collins and another one whose name escapes me now, tucking into a serving of profiteroles in malmaison the night before a game. Finely tuned athletes...

We have had some terrible dealings with man city over the last few years.

Heheheh. The mystery why he's still here is solved. If i was Richards and had that much money riding on promotion i'd be spending all my time in the dressing room absent mindedly stroking the point of a large blade while fixing certain players with a 1000yard stare, muttering "£35,000 a week" under my breath. Gotta be worth an extra man on the pitch motivation wise

Sherwood and his fucking penchant for British bulldogs, a crocked defensive pair of this clown and Lescott. The much-maligned Ligue Une players (chosen by Paddy thingy) were actually his good signings.

He has knackered knees because he's overweight and lazy because he has knackered knees because he's overweight and lazy etc

And the last one he took the piss out the club, the fat waste of skin.

I shattered my shoulder into 3 pieces. It didn't keep me out for 9 months, the massive fucking fanny.

I’m tempted to put this on Micah’s twitter:

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43293449

That’s what a proper captain looks like.

It’s just so tough when you lose someone close very suddenly. It’s happened to me and you miss the most banal stuff. That’s a very touching piece.

Irony is Davide Astori managed to miss out on meeting Micah Richards at Fiorentina by two months though I'm sure he heard all about him.

Really sad news about Davide Astori though. Sounded like both a great player, captain and man.
