Arguably his best performance for us. All too little too late.

Richards will have more good games than bad ones for the rest of the season, because Mr. Richards only cares about Mr. Richards he will take it as a chance to put himself in the window, if Sunderland stop up , long shot I know they will come back with an offer, probably around 5 mill and he will be gone.

The sooner the better. He epitomises every dubious character defect in all the long list of players who have taken so much from us and given back so little.

That appears to be a professional footballer your describing there Brian, or should I say the ones attracted to Aston Villa.

Yes, I am cynical I confess where the upper echelons of the game are concerned.  They receive so much and put back so little.  What they put back is invariably only part of a PR charm offensive to either mask a record of self interest or to achieve some sort of unearned reputation.  I have more respect for Paul Birch who became a postman and died young than I do for the likes of Richards.  At least Paul is immortalised in song.  More than Richards will ever be.

Apparently he's got a buy out clause in his contract.

Bye then.

It'll be interesting to find out who's leaking all this to the Telegraph.

He cost us fuck all.
He is a disruptive prima donna.
He's one of the reasons we are in the mess we are in.
We'll get £5m for him.
He ain't that good.

No biggie....bye.

Paltry? £8m for Delph was paltry. £5m for Richards is the crime of the century.

I'd get rid for £5M now. He's absolute gash. In fact I'll drive him myself to Stoke or wherever the fuck whenever he likes.

I'd take £5. Get him gone.

Awful defender.

£5m for a defender with the positional sense of a Labrador is great business.

More interesting is who is talking to the Telegraph because either the club or the players (/their agents) are talking, this stuff isn't appearing by chance.

This is like when you hear of a Brazilian player and his club have placed a £75m release clause on him and you think who the fuck is going to pay that, why bother.

This blokes a clown.
