The more I read that article the more it comes across as pay back for being told to play at right back.

MR). I don't want to play right back.
RG).  You will play wherever I want you to play.

Have I missed something? When has he played at right back for us?

Well, you're kind of suggesting that he's been told to play there without much proof of it. You may be right, but let's see if it actually happens before we accuse him of throwing his toys out the pram.

I see he puts his arms behind his back when in our penalty box presumably so as not to give away a penalty if the ball hits his arms. By doing this he loses his balance easily and falls over easily.

I can see why people wouldn't be a fan of him coming out like this, but to be honest nothing else happens to be working at the moment, so maybe public shaming will gee them up a bit

I like Richards and I like the way he clearly gives a fuck about us. Everyone's always moaning about players who are the complete opposite of him (N'Zogbia, Gabby etc), so it's refreshing to see someone who actually does have passion in him

At the end of the day, if every player in our squad had his mentality and drive on the pitch to go with their individual talents then we wouldn't be in the relegation zone.

At the moment him and Amavi are our player of the seasons by a country mile, i'm fed up of seeing him having to be the one driving through the middle to try and start an attack because the rest of the squad have been unable to, hes a centre back for f*ck sake.

I also felt for him against Everton, clearly exasperated by the hollow centre midfield we had in Westwood and Gueye, leaving both him and Clark completely exposed.

He probably shouldn't have come out like this in public, but I won't be criticising him for it, these players obviously need a kick up the arse and the internal geeing up is obviously not working.

Seems a strange thing to say. An attitude problem has been completely fabricated on the basis he prefers to play centre back and is being played there. You've no idea what Garde or Richards have said or not said. So, now he's come out and said what all the fans have been thinking themselves, it's suddenly some sort of throwing the toys out of the pram because he's been asked to switch position? okay then..

My little snippet of fictional dialogue between Micah Richards and Remi Garde is a condensed imaginary snapshot of an ongoing and probably heated discussion at Villa Park about whether a proven player of great ability is being used to the team's best advantage. That such a debate is going on is not in question.

I have not "fabricated an attitude problem".  My words were I don't want to play right back.
What I am doing is speaking up for the team mates he has slated in a national newspaper

Well up until this weekend Okore hasn't been fit enough to play, neither has Ilori.

Everyone suggesting Richards at right back is the best team, has also had one of those two at centre back.

Unless you'd prefer to have a centre back partnership of two left footers in Lescott and Clark, at the expense of Hutton playing at right back, then it's been an unnecessary debate

I am not convinced with Richards at centre back, and we do not look as solid there as we did with Clark and Okore last season. Don't want him played at right back though as Hutton has been one of our best players and doesn't deserve dropping.

I am getting tired of seeing Richards gobbing off in the press at every opportunity. It started with him recommending Man City to Delph, and rarely does his press interaction ever seem to be putting Villa's best interests first. He should not be slagging his team mates in public. I don't want him to remain as captain.

Just on 5Live that he's done an interview with Pat Murphy and we can all enjoy watching it when it's aired tomorrow.
The snippet they played basically had Richards saying we were shite/lucky against ManCiŁy, our players have no belief in their own ability and we are in deep shit.
Lovely!
