Yes Delph, it's all Micah Richards fault that you changed your mind and nothing to do with the millions of pounds Man City were throwing at you.

Yes he does seem to be trying to shift the attention a bit.

Mirror reporting that Richards has unfollowed the clubs official twitter account.

Slow news day?

Any chance of a link I can't find it? I'm a little confused by the whole thing? Is Micah getting abuse/grief from the press or Villa fans?

He probably got fed up with being reminded to "snap up" tickets for Villa vs Sunderland.

He probably doesn't need to follow them for information updates, seeing as he you know, works there.

Was it Paul Lambets suppository Nursey? If so just add it to the list of bitter stories about Villa since his chum was sacked.

Looks pretty solid in the warm up games - he's quick and has good feet.  He did put the keeper under pressure with some of the back passes and looks like he took some risks when carrying the ball out of defense which could have been punished.  But given these are just warm ups and blowing the cobwebs away it looked promising to me.

I love his attitude and that's going to be very important to the players around him. He's a very good player that needs to be reminded of that. Sherwood will encourage him to not only be a leader but be again the player he was becoming when got into the England set up. And the England defence isn't one he should be afraid of because a good season and e can certainly get into that Euro 2016 squad.

I look forward to seeing a defense of Amavi, Clark, Richards and Hutton.  If they gel it could be a really strong unit.

Perhaps best for Villa if non if our players get picked for England as it seems they soon get unsettled and become ex Villa players.

The flip side being we never get good players joining us because they won't get picked for England. The truth is as a club if we hadn't been totally inept these past few years then players would want to stay with us longer. There's not a massive difference between say us and Everton and somehow they have managed to keep a hold of Baines, Jagielka and Barkley. Firstly we need to stop having such a fear of losing players but more importantly provide those players with a better environment and stop kicking around the arse end of the table year after year.
