I know it's a grisly thought and I'm clutching at straws but I was born in January 1958 two weeks overdue. That means that when we won the cup in May 1957, my Mom was about 1 month pregnant with me. I am now content that we have won the cup in my "lifetime".I have a similar birth thing going on, but in a bad sense. The day after I was born, in 1968, Albion won the FA Cup.Which means that they have won the FA Cup in my lifetime, but Villa haven't.I'm going to be *so* relieved when we win it next year.

Another positive is that the good folk on H and V and all the brilliant people involved will still be here when time has healed the wounds from all this
I tried the mushroom burger at Wembley. Very tasty.
It will be more enjoyable winning it next season than it would have been retaining it.About a million times more judging by the low key Arsenal fans leaving the ground.

I left a couple of minutes before the end (missing the Giroud goal) and there were Arsenal fans on the same train as the Villa heading away from the ground! Just imagine if Villa had won it! We'd have probably all still have been there an hour after the trophy had been presented!
