Was anybody else completely staggered by the Arsenal fans who couldn't be bothered to stay to watch their side lift the Cup?

Well, another sad day at the FA Cup final. As per 2000, fantastic day up to the kick off then spoiled by the team. Personally think he picked the wrong team, after saying we were going toe-to-toe he played Hutton and CNZ. Should have been Bacuna and Sinclair.
Only players to come out with any credit are Westwood, Richardson and Okore.

Without significant changes another season of struggle awaits. I hope Sherwood told Lerner to find another club!

Do you know, I woke up this morning thinking "I can't believe we got spanked 3-0 so easily in a cup final."

I then unfortunately remembered that they scored a fourth in the last minute just to make us look that bit shitter.
Groan.

there is so much work to be done over the summer it's not funny. Sherwood will need to get to work tomorrow and probably keep going until the opening day.

After leaving on the whistle in 2010 and to a degree regretting it I stayed for the presentations. I have to say that whilst they could afford to be magnanimous the Arsenal fans gave us a very large round of applause, I suppose in thanks for handing them their 12th FA Cup. Most I then met on the way back to my sisters house realised we just needed to be left with our thoughts......

Yep no issues with the arsenal fans from me. All the ones we met yesterday were sound.

Just to rub it in a bit more this morning coming into Kiings Cross and on the escalator was subjected to many ads offering me a guided tour of the Emirates stadium. All I needed was Giroud's smug face staring at me.

Go back a few years and any game I went to I always thought we could get a result. Recent years changed that when I questioned why I was going to games where I knew we had no chance. Along came Sherwood and I was starting to believe again we could give anyone a game. Sadly looking back on yesterday I have to admit there are some teams we will never trouble.

That's pretty appalling, particularly given the near 10 years of moaning about the wait for last years trophy. You never know with Arsenal these days they could go another long stretch without winning anything. They should enjoy it, they can't get back to that expectation of winning something almost every year.

A great build up to the game. Our fans were fantastic throughout. How the players couldn't be inspired by us, I'll never know. When they finished the warm up I imagine 80% of Villa fans were already in the ground and game them a rousing reception.

I'm still utterly amazed at how badly we played. It was miles worse than 2000. From the first miss control by Okore after about 30 seconds, to Giroud scoring in the last seconds, it was just an nightmare. The only hope is that all those at the top at the club can see what a massive summer is ahead of them. This kind of defeat would be easy to take into next season.

As someone who stayed for the presentation I'd imagine that was the prawn sandwich lot who went early because the Arsenal end was packed when they lifted the Trophy.
