It's awful this morning, just horrible.

I can accept being outclassed by a far better team, but not outfought, not in the FA Cup Final, not in front of the world.

My boy cried his eyes out on 70 minutes followed by pathetic in fighting making me so disillusioned that I'm wondering about ever going again. Fights, threats all over the place - a guy gets his head stamped on? We had to go on 75 because of what happened near to us.

I had one guy raise his fist to me before the game, as people squeezed their way in and out of those awful block 541 toilets. It was a crush and I'm just trying to get my boy in while this pissed up old wanker pushes everyone out the way.

We've got some amazing fans who care so passionately about the Villa. We've also got some of the most moronic, Neanderthal scumbags any society could dream of producing.

Such a shame as the whole time leading up to the game had been wonderful.

The moment where N'Zogbia played a shocking ball that Grealish had no chance of getting and then remonstrated with Jack was the moment I'd live to have seen the useless waste of a shirt twatted by a colleague.

He is one player that should never wear a great shirt again . There is a few others of course but he's had chance after chance and he is taking the piss out of us.

I've always hated the fucker, all that money he's had for nothing

It's the lack of any fight or spirit for the biggest game of most, if not all of their career that has made me feel like I might as well give up.  The club may of survived, just, but there is still something that still very much stinks at Villa. Is TS the man to take us forward? Not so sure.

I don't think it was lack of fight or spirit, we just wasn't good enough and that's being generous.

Unimpressive. I don't agree with those criticising the defenders. I thought Vlaar and Okore did ok. With Arsenal close to their best and no help from midfield it was just a matter of time before Arsenal would score.

Overall, Arsenal was just so much better than us, in terms of skill, tactics and preparation that there isn't much to say. But with the players we have, we should have done better.

Not that it remotely justifies it but I think the guy in black was an Arsenal fan. At half time as he was being escorted away through the concourse there were other tossers aiming kicks and blows at him. Some people need to get a grip. Jeez, we all care but when you boil it down it was only a game.

I've now seen my team in an FA Cup final, I witnessed much graciousness from many Villa fans in heavy defeat and remonstration  with those who couldn't handle it.The manager knows now what a big clear out he has to undertake and must have the remit to do so.I believe he has the guts and reason to do so. But best of all the whole charade of 14/15 is over and I can forget about football for a couple of months. Sad Villa fan this morning but that will fade . U TV

Agree it doesn't feel better the morning after.  However I saw the other side to you - the 'Villa family'.  My son was inconsolable at the end - some chap (in block 546) came over put his hand on his shoulder and said: 'don't worry or be upset son. This is Aston Villa and we have days like this'.  A nice touch IMO.

After all, whatever happens, we are indeed Aston Villa and we still come back despite days like yesterday!
