Don't know how we've managed to replace a bad memory of a final with an even worse one.

Yes i believe we managed one shot on target in the one before.

I'm still massively pissed off. Hopefully the club can be sold to someone who isn't a fuckwit and some of the garbage can be replaced by decent players.

Top of the list to fuck off: Charles N'Zogbia. Literally didn't know he was playing until I saw someone try and run down a blind alley with his head down against ten Arsenal players before immediately giving them the ball back. Before I saw his face I knew it must have been him.

I would highlight him standing still whilst marking Walcott for the first goal, that was a real disgrace. Was fecking fuming at half time when they were saying the occasion is too big for Jack, get him off, NZog don't give a toss for our club

It reminded me of the Chelsea semi final in 2010. That was a pathetic no-shots affair, too.

In fact, thinking about it, the 2010 FAC semi and the 2010 CCCF we must have managed one shot on target in 180 minutes, and that was the penalty

As I get older and more senile I will recollect we beat Liverpool 2-1 in the final at Wembley. Today never happened.

I hope that's the last we'll see of Randy Lerner as our owner. It's been a disaster ever since he bought the club in all honesty, from letting MON go mental with his money right through to today's embarrassment.

Not impressed with Sherwood really. Having said that, he has achieved his main target of keeping us up, so fair enough!

Most of that squad needs to go. Sounds dramatic, but it's the truth, they're just not good enough for this level.

I'm so fed up right now. We need to do better as a club.

That was worth the 7000 mile round trip.

Heh, I feel bad for you! I nearly pulled the trigger myself but family / work commitments kind of got in the way. I am pretty happy they did right about now.

Feel like a bit of an idiot now

The only positive I can take from today is I didn't waste hundreds of pounds on watching it. In fact I'm fucking delighted about that part. I feel for every Villa fan that went, more so for those that paid over the odds, and especially for those ripped off by c***s. In the end, we were all ripped off. We have been for years.

And we have a winner for post of the century.

I feel the same. I was offered a ticket for £300 and i thought about it. I'm so glad i kept hold of that money.

I would have taken it and enjoyed the occasion, Villa fans were brilliant. I have seen great times such as Rotterdam and Highbury, I have seen shite times like relegation, but I will always try to support my club. I will criticise when necessary but would have loved your ticket

I think the Beeb have got their match stats wrong. They credit us with 2 shots but no corners. I'm sure we had two corners in the second half but can't recall a single shot in the entire game

Those two performances were far better than today, we were good in both first halfs from memory not that I want to watch the video of either game again anytime soon.

They were a world away from today's hopeless effort or indeed 2000 but then we had a far better team a few years back.

We just don't do cup finals nowadays I'm afraid, certainly not an effort to actually attempt to win them.

The moment where N'Zogbia played a shocking ball that Grealish had no chance of getting and then remonstrated with Jack was the moment I'd live to have seen the useless waste of a shirt twatted by a colleague.

Well what a load of unmitigated shite that was from start to finish. Diabolical. Embarrassing. We were lucky to only concede 4 and score 0. Not a single meaningful shot all game. Shocking.
