I put the blame totally on Falkirk.

But not to have a single shot on target or even a corner was beyond anything you could have feared. At least we didn't suffer a record final defeat I suppose. Who would have thought a Sherwood team would have a stat like that. I do wonder what would have happened if we had started with Gabby, who has often played well against them and was at least having a run at them.

This is it - we may have still lost but not as badly if we were not so one dimensional. All game when going forward we took an eternity to play the ball wide and float balls at Benteke. It needed variety - as soon as we mixed it up a bit and became less predictable we looked more of a danger (and should have been awarded a free kick and a penalty). We do have players who can run at defences and play the ball to create danger for the opposition - we've seen this under Sherwood. It's tough when there is no momentum though- it's hard to remember a game when we didn't have at least a couple of minutes of pressure (a couple of corners, force the keeper into a save, a decent free kick etc.) to encourage the fans and build momentum.

I think it was much more about Grealish finding much more space with Nzogbia out the way than anything else. Gabby gave him more movement in front to play with too and suddenly we had their back 4 moving about.

From where we were sat I looked down at the lower tier late in second half and villa fans were being pulled apart by stewards . Sad end to a tragic season all round .
Pictures on FB, cant really tell if it was Saturday or not, posted there by a nose, so it could be anything or nothing.

I know not everyone wants to stand but i advised evryone for the semi where the standers and sitters would be. i was banned. My prediction for standing sitting areas were correct for the final, all you have to do is follow previous patterns and then choose your tickets. I along with many thousnads stood throughout, in fact i did not flip my seat over either for the semi or the final once. For this and many seasons i have not sat down once, cos i choose my tickets carfeully everyone else has the same choice too if they think about it and not be simple.

Really? How interesting.

Thanks again for your time in re-registering, but don't feel you need to keep doing it.

Villa Fan. You're either a wind up merchant or the most boring person I've ever met.

I could've done with villa fan the last time I was at the RSC to see Love's Labour's Lost. We had appalling tickets; I'm still coming to terms with it.

I wonder if that was villa fan who insisted on standing up in front of my missus when we saw Weller at the NIA a few years back. After asking nicely and all reasoning failed, I told him that if he didn't sit down, at some unspecified point in the near future I would firmly push him in the back into the seats and people in front of him. He sat down.
