Surely the best way to launch a kit is get it out early enough so it can be worn in the 38th game. Thus avoiding awkward afternoons like today.

The first Macron home shirt looked great - design wise I think that's my favourite of the four they've done - but the material was shit.

Surprised they didn't show the keepers top, seeing as probably only Given and Steer were available does this mean that they are surplus?

agree that it's strange they didn't show the keepers top. Couldn't we have gotten the Villa Ladies keeper to model it? And yes, shows that both Given and Steer are surplus to requirements in my opinion.

I like the keeper's home shirt but the away one looks like a training top:

Best goalie top ever was the rainbow one Bosnich and Spinksy wore in 1993-95. The Muller one. The first cool Villa goalies top.

I'd like to see that but it was impossible this season due to a sponsor change.

Plus, we had a match after our 38th game which might have complicated things.

Pretty good effort, even if the collar on the home kit is remarkably similar to the 82/3 Blues' shirt by Patrick
