That West Ham kit looks a bit 'Burnley'

Is it a training top or one of those "travel" tops?

The round neck on the West Ham shirt is a bit crap.

I thought Villa used to release the new kit as part of the annual father's day party around villa park lately, didn't they organise something similar this year ?

The new kit was launched on June 9th last year and June 12th the year before. It's late this year which likely has something to do with the new sponsor and scheduling pictures with the players etc.

The zip is a real fashion crime and a H&S risk.

I swear you're on the wind up. You must be.

I was i the shop in town yesterday, and behind the counter they have a couple of last year's shirts with stuff printed on the back for Father's Day. Two women were behind me in the queue and the conversation went like this

"Oh look, they've got Papa shirts on display"
"Is he a new signing?"
"Think about it, papa/father's day"
"oh yeah"
"Our new signing is Mikel Richardson from Man City"

Amount of Man City shirts I've seen this weekend in sunny Horsham, many many many miles south of Manchester, is depressing. And I see so many Barcelona shirts every where you'd think we were in Spain. The amount of smug smiles and snide remarks I get when people see me in a Villa top..... I honestly cant remember our public image being so low and scorned at as it seems to have become this last 3-4 years - and that goes for the season we were in the 2nd Division in 1987.

When faced with that dilemma I just ask them how many games they have been to at Old Trafford / Anfield / The Emirates or wherever 'their club' plays and that usually does the trick.

The round neck on the West Ham shirt is a bit crap.

As it's (supposedly) their last season at The Boleyn Ground, it's based on their 1904 kit - their 1st season there..
