I suppose it all depends what the next company is offering to pay. We might have a clause in the contract in the last year that allows us to break with a lesser penalty than if it was done earlier. We do that in my work where in acquiring new business part of our pro forma is to account for taking over from the incumbent contract. Umbro would be a nice change though. Macron hasn't been horrendous but the quality of the material has been poor overall and I've liked the current home kit design less as the season has gone on. Glad Dafabet will be gone soon also, hopefully not replaced by another betting company.

I wouldn't at all be surprised if the Macron contract is cut short now that Tom Fox is now on board running the show. There may well be clauses in the current contract that allow for early termination or he may well have found that a new deal with Umbro would be more profitable regardless of the current deal. Fox would also know that having an association with a well known brand could potentially improve the clubs branding and image, provide more marketing opportunities, generate more via sponsorships and increase sales volumes...generally a more attractive corporate and sales package. I guess we'll find out soon enough as things pan out over the next few weeks.

Macron have improved year on year, in fact this seasons away shirt is one of the best for years. I just don't think they have ever got the material/quality right. Those stupid men on the shoulders have pissed me off as well

Macron could produce the nicest shirt in the world (in fact they pretty much have with this year's away top), but by putting those logos on the shoulders they relegate any shirt to a non league looking kit.

I quite like that Watford kit, even though it looks like something out of the Japanese second division.

Me too.

There's a fella on Villatalk who has historically been very accurate, and has hinted the away is yellow.

Has he mentioned anything of a potential Umbro deal?

I'm all for going back to Umbro, but can't see why we'd spend money buying our way out of a four-year deal (our most lucrative ever) when that money would be better spent elsewhere.  Maybe next year though when the Macron deal is up.

I don't mind the Macron stuff but I wouldn't buy any of it.  Quite like this year's away top though, it's the best we've had in years.

I had suggested earlier, if someone else wants the business we wouldn't have to do anything. The new supplier would be absorbing the cost of breaking a contract to secure one for themselves. Not that I am suggesting this is what is happening here off course and we may very well have Macron kits for next season.

Not that I could read pal.

I think we may have read some press release if we were going to switch kit suppliers, so I would presume it will be Macron again.
