We all said we'd rather have a flag concentrating on Villa than referring to the other team. I do have sympathy and always support initiatives funded and supported by fans, but I'm quite glad that flag won't be aired around the world as a representation of me as a Villa fan.

I didn't like the the flag but I like censorship even less.

Having said that I hope Wembley also ban half and half scarves that mention Arsenal too.

To be fair I have a degree of sympathy, the flag didn't make sense on several levels but as you say DeKuip the censorship/sterility issue is ridiculous.

Advertise beer & gambling that's just fine, sing songs about shitting on the city & the cockneys, but heaven forbid anyone who mentions the other team on an oversized bed sheet.

It wasn't in the least bit offensive, just crap

It would appear Wembley have banned the flag. Because it mentions Arsenal.

Excellent.

Finally, the football business gets something right.

How much was it £2,000? Ha!

They have some shit ideas on MOMS. Even their name is wank.

Isnt MOMS connected to the Brigada lot ?

I assumed so - this flag reminded me of some of their efforts.

There is still time to create a 'Fuck the Fuckers' mosaic.
I think we could do it if we had enough post it notes.

Why didn't they just have an iconic Villa one that could be used more than just this game?

I'm sure I read somewhere that they said Wembley had agreed to it before they had raised the money.

Apparently the idea is to use the bottom part in the lower North. £3k on a flag and they plan to cut it up. And didn't bother checking if Wembley would allow it. Genius.
