I know this question is being ask by many Villa fans. But surely Gill could/would have a much more effective presence than Nzogbia ?? Do not get me wrong Nzogbia has improved his work rate. But Gil has better control, vision and is a bigger goal threat ?? He is still contender for Villa`s goal of the season ......

I agree, but would say that Sherwood has managed to find a line up that works, and is maybe thinking he's happy to stay with that rather than take any risks to change it in an attempt to make it better.

At the moment, it seems to be doing the job.

1 seat left in the Holte for the Burnley game!
Brilliant times.

Just went for a virtual tour of the ground with the club site the ticket office and the Holte is now completely sold out. Full house it is then. Anyone know what the capacity is?

I didn't know myself, so I just had to google it. Supposedly 42,682. There are currently three single seats offered for sale on the OS, so it should be the biggest gate for some time.

The capacity of the Hawthorns is given as 26,272, which sounds unlikely. That isn't much different to Turf Moor (22,546), although whether the Albion can claim to be the bigger club is debatable, given that Burnley have won the league more often and more recently.

More importantly, Villa Park's co-ordinates are 52°30′33″ North, 1°53′5″ West. No other football ground can claim this.

i know it makes sense to stick with a team that is "working" especially at such a crucial time. Just hope during pre season he gets a chance to really show how good a player he can be ......

Still seats on Viagogo

Burnley tickets on Viagogo

I can't go due to being at a festival. I put mine on for £23 on Friday night and it was sold at 9am saturday morning. They were available on the official site for £25, didn't expect people to be so eager!

I'll consider swapping my Burnley ticket for a weekend with Kaley Cuoco cup final ticket.

Looks like this could be a lockout.
The last proper one I recall was the spurs midweeker, I'd know as I was locked out and watched from Aston hall hill .
