And another one...

"Villa are knocking it around with a confidence of a top 6 side and every single one of their players are finding acres of space, from full-back to striker".

When Sam makes not one but two substitutions at half time to try and contain us you know we are doing something right.

Another good win. It was one of those games where I felt pretty confident that the opposition wouldn't score. It was nice that Grealish got man of the match but I thought Cleverley was better.

and a few of us thought Jores Okore was better than either of the above. Good to have so many players performing to such a high standard though.

I really want to like Jores but I just think at the minute he has a rick or two in each game which he needs to focus on - he reminds me a bit of Ugo in the way that Cleverley reminds me of David Platt.

I agree okore has a mistake in him. But I can't remember one yesterday.

The last two games have served to tell us why given can't be first choice though. He could easily have cost us twice through his inability to compete with someone on his toes or not. You can bet every team we play will try the same tactic to see what mood the ref is in

Reading the BBC report about how poor West Ham were first half put me in mind of last week's report, when they said the same thing about Everton.

Wonder if they considered that this strange coincidence may have occurred because the home team were vastly superior?

I love listening to Allardyce after they've lost. If there is a more myopic and bitter manager going, I'd be shocked.

He looked like he knew he was off at the end of season. He looked dis-interested and tired. I am sure cack-beard wants a bigger name manager when they move to their taxpayers stadium.

I think he made the point that his team have lacked the cutting edge for about 10 games which is almost coincidental with his clear the air meeting with Brady. So basically fuck you West Ham board.

Burnley may be heading to be sold out
You'd like to think so, it will be a chance to give the lads a rousing send off before FA Cup Final and to hopefully celebrate in the sun premier league survival and maintain our ever present record, all this capped off with a positive summer and next campaign to look forward to with possible European football too.

I booked a couple of tickets last week (first game this season...glory hunting I know), and there was one seat left in the Holte End and very limited availability in the upper Trinity and Witton Lane. Should be a rousing send off for the boys!

As the Everton, Spam and Burnley games count to FA Cup final tickets, it is not just the good turn around in form that is causing the sell out crowds suddenly.

I said yesterday the West Ham fans barely sung. I stand by that, I was Witton upper but towards holte. They barely made any noise.
Saw one villa fan getting turfed out of North lower and that got their biggest reaction of the day.
Song didn't do much other than kick and try and impose himself on Grealish . I thought we looked very leggy and nervous second half and clearly Benteke had an off day.

I was thinking about this earlier funnily enough. So far over the past month we've been lucky enough to play against a poor Tottenham, a poor Liverpool, a poor Man City, a poor Everton, and now a poor West Ham. Lucky for us, eh? phew.

Agreed MB, Westwood is becoming one of those players that's important to the side and how we play, but you don't really notice until he's not there. If that makes sense.

I think at this point it's compulsory to mention the name Des Bremner.

Petrov also springs to mind.

Also Gavin McCann. (Didn't *spit* O'Leary say this about him once?)

I'm glad we've got another three points we are nearly there now.
