Does anyone know what the parking provision will be at Villa Park for people taking the official coaches down? And if anyone travelled down this way for the Semi Final, what was the travel time to Wembley?

I do know that the Premier coaches were stuck on the car park for over 2 hours after the semi final.
That's bizarre as we sailed out of the yellow car park like it was a quiet Sunday morning in the country.

For the semi, the queue at Moor St was a pain but journey pleasant enough...those who got on at later stations brought  booze on with them - either no police at those stations or not as rigorous as Moor St.
We went for food and beer after the game and got train back about 8ish - no queues or problems at all.

we was on one of the first trains out of moor st for the semi final.
No ticket checks, no police, openly took a couple of cans on & plenty of seats available. Pleasent journey all the way to Wembley.
Think the biggest problem on the morning was people turning up without pre buying tickets .

I agree - there were really 2 queues - One for people with tickets and another to buy tickets.

We were on the second train out and there were no booze checks at all - our train was far from dry !

We git one back at about 8.30 - again no problems and no problem with drinks - if you hadn't had enough by then !

We left Moor St on the 8.55. Police were pretty heavy-handed over the booze thing...we didn't have any anyway, saving ourselves for The Green Man...police took loads off people as they got to the platform...wonder what happened to that then?
Couldn't believe that people were turning up at the station without tickets and just getting in the queue, waiting, which caused a bit of chaos early on until they started the two queues thing. Once we got moving it was ok. Mate got on at Solihull with carrier bag full of cans along with many others en route.

Yeah you can, I rang up Chiltern with the same question. They're going to put an amended timetable for the day up at some point tomorrow so I'd check the new times then.

Anyone travelling from Tamworth might want to look at national express.
Twenty quid gets you there and back.

not many seats left though.

Going to swerve Moor Street this time.  Queued for over two hours there and then queued again after the game (went for something to eat after so it was later on as well) and had to stand all the way back.
