Quote from: joe_c on May 19, 2015, 10:57:20 AMDoes anyone know what the parking provision will be at Villa Park for people taking the official coaches down? And if anyone travelled down this way for the Semi Final, what was the travel time to Wembley?I do know that the Premier coaches were stuck on the car park for over 2 hours after the semi final.

For the semi, the queue at Moor St was a pain but journey pleasant enough...those who got on at later stations brought booze on with them - either no police at those stations or not as rigorous as Moor St.We went for food and beer after the game and got train back about 8ish - no queues or problems at all.

Pleasent journey all the way to Wembley.Think the biggest problem on the morning was people turning up without pre buying tickets .
On the virgin train it identifies last train (with Chiltern?) leaves Marylebone at 22.08. I am not sure but if you have a valid open virgin ticket you can jump on that??

They're going to put an amended timetable for the day up at some point tomorrow so I'd check the new times then.

Police were pretty heavy-handed over the booze thing...we didn't have any anyway, saving ourselves for The Green Man...police took loads off people as they got to the platform...wonder what happened to that then?Couldn't believe that people were turning up at the station without tickets and just getting in the queue, waiting, which caused a bit of chaos early on until they started the two queues thing. Once we got moving it was ok. Mate got on at Solihull with carrier bag full of cans along with many others en route.
