Our defence terrifies me more than an ISIS meat raffle.
Both sides have defnesive frailties. That's why we have to play the game like we did against Liverpool: on the front foot. If we can attack their CB, we'll cause them some problems. We probably also have to accept that they will score at least one goal against us.

This just gave me goosebumps

Not one Birmingham voice among them.
Could have used the Poet's footage - tremendous pre-Bitters film.

Anyone know of any Villa friendly pubs in and around London that would be good for post match drinks? Staying at a mates in Tooting on the Saturday night.

I'd take colours off after or the door staff might get sniffy. Suggest you do the Northcott Road in Clapham if you are staying down the road in Tooting.

I have a triple room at the quality hotel 5 minutes from Wembley that due to a change in circumstances I no longer need. Cost me £155 for the Saturday night if anyone wants it for what it cost me feel free to message me. If this isn't allowed on here or on the wrong thread apologies

Is there a plan hatched up by  the Council for a Victory parade on Sunday? Fans need to know so that we can shoot back in time for that!

We'll start with the same 11 who played in the semi, unless Given & Richardson aren't fit. Our best performances over the last few months, have been with this team.

Arsenal's midfield is their strength, we have to match their numbers & keep them busy marking Grealish, Delph & N'Zogbia. Corzola won't want to be chasing Grealish all afternoon, Coquelin will give away lots of free kicks. Our delivery needs to be better than it has been.

Our players will want this more & we want this more. I believe our collective desire will bridge any gap in quality. They've had to go to extra time in their last 3 games at Wembley & everyone thinks they're certainties. They are not.

We have to believe we can do it.

The situation is very similar to League Cup in 1994. Their midfield was their main strength but with the right balance and tactics we need to nullify Carzola and Sanchez. If we do this and get the Beast to ram raid at their soft underbelly we can do it.
The defence will have to be switched on from second one.

I'd expect it to be Monday...if we have one at all!

Can they make it Tuesday please? I'm at the Manics gig at Wolves Civic on Monday night. Or can it detour through Wolverhampton?

Why has this thread been de-stickified ?

Is there an alternate pre-match thread in the offing ?

I'll probably be having a few on Northcote Road before I head up to Wembley too!

Yes that would be helpful. Perhaps stopping at The Great Western for agreeable refreshments.
