Interesting to see that Arsenal gave away match goers priority whereas Villa didn't include that at any of the allocation criteria.

They have to as they have more ST holders than available tickets. They also use a points system as well as different membership tiers.

Arsenal also had a ballot system going for the semi , even for ST holders . The one I work with (pays £2.5k for him and his sons ST) got through the ballot

The ballot is for fans in a third tier of criteria. The first two use away games as that's the only way to separate ST holders as they have than they receive Wembley tickets.

I REALLY hope Colombia and Chile decide to be gits and force Sanchez and Ospina to miss the final. They probably won't though.

I find it odd that a one off showpiece match , on a day with no other games, doesn't have the KO time fixed at the start of the season. They'll never factor in fan's travel arrangements anyway so presumably it's down to which countries buy into TV coverage. I imagine most would buy in anyway as it's the English Cup Final.

Szczezney will be in goal - they always use the back-up keeper in the cups like we do.

Anyone got any ideas how much a club wembley ticket for the final will cost? Also any guesstimates on how much the standard tickets will be going for on the black market? I'm not going to qualify for a ticket so guess I need to start saving... Well done Villa brilliant day yesterday.

£280 is the cheapest I've found considering you'd pay £250 for Club Wembley where you could be surrounded by Arsenal twats that's not too bad.

I'm considering doing this rather than paying a tout. Any idea what you get for £280?

Aston Villa  V  Everton           Sat 2 May  15:00
Aston Villa  V  West Ham       Sat 9 May  15:00
Southampton  V  Aston Villa  Sat 16 May  12:45
Aston Villa  V  Burnley          Sun 24 May  15:00
Arsenal  V  Aston Villa       Sat 30 May  15:00

...Looks good doesn't it?  8)

Hmm...not if it means that Arsenal are officially the home team as that means we'll not be wearing claret and blue  :(

Don't see why we can't wear claret & blue.

It's weird watching the 90s season reviews and seeing Arsenal playing at VP in red shirts some seasons, pretty much always now both teams play in away kits now although I think we may have played one fixture at the Emirates in claret and blue perhaps?

I'd like to see us in C&B for the final purely as we won yesterday in our colours and it just seems better watching us in big games wearing Claret and Blue rather than white or whatever.

Aye.  We'll be wearing stripes either way, so we'll have a chance.

My wife is trying to re-arrange the birthday party for our 3 year old which is currently due to take place at the same time as the final.......to be fair she is doing this with absolutely no prompting from me. Very unlikely I will get a ticket but I want to be surrounded by Villa fans however I watch it.
