Lost in this a little is how brilliant Nathan Baker was and how really good he has become. I always thought he has everything a PL CB would ever want. He's brave, big, strong, reckless at times. What he needed was some intelligence and composure. Well like Clark he's come on leaps and bounds and for him to step in today and play as well as he did is impressive. Playing next to Vlaar in that kind of form also helps a bit but fair dues to him for the improvement he has shown this season.

But it's not an excuse. You play to the whistle. It's exactly the sort of challenge Sanchez keeps on trying to make. Sometimes he's a day late and the players well past him. But if he does catch them it's probably going to be a yellow. Sadly it was his second of the game. How many more posts are you going to make in this thread about Sanchez. I think you have made your point.

He's been our most improved player this season, along with Clark, who has also turned into a really solid defender.

Well deserved. One more win needed really looking at the Hull and Sunderland results.I'd appeal the Sanchez red aswell, I don't think that was any more than a yellow personally.
