Never mind once in 31 years, we've only won three times since WW2!!!!
that is seriously poor. Though law of averages would suggest we will pick up a win sometime. I really do dislike Man Utd more than any other club.

This is very poor considering in the time period stated we have been competing more or less at the same level.

The day we beat ManU at their London trainstop of a ground I will celebrate like a cup final, I don't care how small time it makes me look. I really, really dislike that club.

We're on to at least score there this time. The challenge will be holding them in midfield.

They're predicting a turkey shoot over at Red Cafe, so I'm hoping they'll have a long and miserable journey back to the Home Counties on Saturday evening.

As someone who attended this fixture for decades and missed our one win every century in 2009, good luck to all those going and I hope we smash 'em. I will celebrate with a cigar and brandy if we manager to pull it off but head tells me play the kids, doesn't matter how well we play something psychological about this fixture that frightens our players, creates ridiculous refereeing decisions and inspires average Man U players to the performance of their lives. Take our annual beating with good humour and keep our powder dry for QPR on Tuesday.

Hope the lessons of the Swansea game have been learned, we set up with two in midfield today and we will be hammered. Sherwood seems set of leaving Guzan as number one, would be surprised if Given came back in though there isnt much in it. Sinclair hasnt shown up in his away games for us so far, marginal call maybe to push Cleverley further forward and bring Bacuna into the middle. Not a game for Nzogbia, we need mobile front players to press them high up the park to have any hope. I think we will need Sanchez in this one to deal with the threat of Fellaini in the air.

               Guzan
Hutton, Okore, Clark, Lowton
               Sanchez
        Cleverley, Delph
  Sinclair, Benteke, Gabby

As ever, I just hope we don't go there and immediately mess our pants. I'm sick of the ease they win with. I've seen some very decent goes at VP which came up short, but Old Trafford seems like a given for them. I fear for us conceding first.

I can not see anything but the usual comfortable home win, with Rooney getting a brace of goals for the fifth time against us. Utd 3 Villa 1

What we must avoid is any key injuries, an absolute confidence battering heavy loss, Clark getting booked, any silly red cards.

Roger East 6 reds and 74 yellows in 24 games this season.

According to the offical PL refs site it's 13 games, 46 yellows and 2 reds - not the worst by any means
