They're going to score. We could well score against their backline.

I'll go for an optimistic 2-2.

Even if we play well and they play shit there's still something that will go for them whether it be reflections or shocking refereeing. 0-4 defeat.

If he could mention that we're all lucky to be alive at a time when Messi, Ronaldo and Michael Carrick are all playing the game that should keep silhillvilla happy.

TimsherwoodsAstonVilla have never lost at O/T;-)

Which is a nice stat until Saturday evening.

We've beaten them there more recently than we've beaten them at home.

I don't think you're taking this all too seriously, Chris.

My mate's a pundit on Ghanian TV and he's covering this game. He wants me to give him so (serious) Villa Old Trafford stats because he wants to be more Villa leaning. I've told him there's not much I can give him - any suggestions?

Won once there in the last 31 years?
Not too optimistic about this one!

We'll do them 1-0, with Delph scoring the winner.

They're going to score. We could well score against their backline.

I'll go for an optimistic 2-2.

I think that is the attitude we have to adopt in the three upcoming away games.  The TSM (I & II) philosophy was to go into these kind of games ultra defensively and if we conceded just continue that way and try and keep the score down.  I hope Sherwood is concentrating on how we can cause them problems rather than being overly conservative in his approach.

Yep definitely. If we approach it like Lambert we'd essentially just be waiting for the inevitable. One goal goes in, the heads drop then the flood gates open anyway.
We've got to approach this game like we think we can win. We may get pasted, but if we sit back trying not to lose, we'll just get spanked anyway. We might as well go for it.

I've always felt that we get beat in the tunnel up there. You've got to have a go at them. They're piss poor at the back and seem to be a rag tag jumble of attacking players thrown onto the pitch, with no other tactic than the big boot.

The walk to the ground always makes me very angry indeed.
