I am at New Road getting pleasantly pissed, so don't rely on me for scoring duties. Shantry had a very good hostile spell early on but spinners on for a good few overseas before lunch.Might already be time to start the covering one eye thing.

That was a strange game that never really got started. Still a win is a win. What struck me was the size of the crowd. Sunday has always been a popular county cricket day, going back as far as the John Player League. There was a much bigger crowd today compared to the Friday night games.
Good. Friday nights might work for some teams but I'm not sure it does for us. Trying to get out of Edgbaston at 11.30pm is a pain in the arse.
