Arsenal fans are in the same boat, it's not just us getting stiffed.

The difference is, they only live down the road!

Exactly this

Liverpool don't wait.  If they did, there'd be a banner made about it.
Plus a song that only the Kop can sing, with their cheeky scouse wit.
Stevie G dreamt it.

There will be plenty of Arsenal traveling from outside London, needing to take time off work etc. It's not some anti-Villa conspiracy, it's just typical disregard for all fans.

Wembley only release tickets block by block. This morning they have released 3 sets in the roof, & one block in the lower tier by the corner flag - which is a nice choice for his of us who have season tickets and a full set of cup games. Not Villa's fault - this is how Wembley sell.
Villa think the releases are rotating anti clockwise towards behind the goal on the lower tier, so we are waiting to see if we get a better offer!

http://www.viator.com/tours/London/FA-Cup-Final-Football-Match-at-Wembley-Stadium/d737-6599FACUP?pref=204&aid=m8555

On arrival at Wembley Stadium, where the FA Cup final has been played since 1923, skip past the long general admission lines and enter via a separate entrance for Club Wembley ticket holders. Then, head to the middle tier and settle into your long-side seat (first-timers, this means the seats overlook the entire field) or your short-side seat behind one of the goals. If you’ve come with a group, you are guaranteed seats together, which can’t always be guaranteed when booking elsewhere.
From the comfort of your luxury padded seat, marvel at the enormity of this impressive stadium, which has held concerts for the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Madonna and One Direction. It has also played host to major football matches such as the 2012 Summer Olympics finals, and the home matches of the England national football team.

Before kickoff, flick through your complimentary match program, or perhaps purchase pre-match refreshments (own expense) at one of the Club Wembley lounges, bars, or restaurants, all of which are significantly less crowded than the stadium’s general food and drink outlets. Then, return to your seat and soak up the electric atmosphere as the crowd pumps themselves up with songs, chants and other football game antics.

Cheer on your team during the 90-minute match, and watch the FA Final 2015 trophy ceremony before you take off for your next adventure (which might be in a pub to celebrate).

Agreed.  I'm travelling from Manchester so don't want to be shafted anymore by Virgin Rail than I have to be.  I'm currently looking at between £60 and £80 return.

Just had a text from dad, I'm on 5 games (I'm in London) he's in Hampshire and only on 4 games so he's not yet meeting criteria released (yep we know there should be more left over)

I'd understood if he goes on Saturday, ie *attended* before the 5+ criteria comes up, that would bring him to the same entitlement as me.

But :
Quote from: My pa
Yes, if you go, i would like to go as well. If we go, will you get both tix please. Spoke to AV tix office, criteria for Semi, 5 attendances, was fixed BEFORE Swansea game, even if i go i do NOT qualify for Semi ticket. Dad x.

This sounds different to impression I had / others understanding, anybody else planning on relying on Swansea home to meet criteria? Is this right? They were obviously v clear with him, but I wonder if it could be a mistake?

this is different to what i was told yesterday when i was told that Swansea DEFINITELY counted, and (after a check with a manager) that QPR would too (played on the 7th, before the 9th)
Oh dear. Dad now been told on the phone: yep that was a mistake and Swansea does count, but the 5+ games have to be HOME ones (after checking with supervisor) which it seems contradicts anything advertised.

I don't believe that can be true (most of mine are away)... starting to take back my positive appraisal of the club's organisation.

Finally, even more unhelpfully and misleadingly I think, the guy he spoke to kept emphasising it was all subject to availability, suggesting 5+ doesn't guarantee you'll get one.  :o
I don't think I believe that either.

Are you sure that the 5+ games have to be home games?
